  Wales Poster competition- Please could all entries be submitted by Monday 27th February at the latest to be judged by senior school pupils. Thank you to those pupils who have already entered. Week commencing 27th February - Infant Department themed week - Wales Calling all talented muscians! During the morning of Thursday 1st March, all Year 2 have the opportunity to perform a solo musical item in front of an audience.If your child/children would like to participate, they will need to rehearse their chosen piece at home before hand. Year 2 Weekly Newsletter

Week commencing 27th February - Infant Department themed week - Wales Calling all talented muscians! During the morning of Thursday 1st March, all Year 2 have the opportunity to perform a solo musical item in front of an audience.If your child/children would like to participate, they will need to rehearse their chosen piece at home before hand. Please could your child/children complete the research/fact sheet about Wales, which is stuck inside their red homework books, by Monday as this will form the basis of their fact books about Wales. Thank you for your assistance and thank you to those who have already completed it. On Thursday March 1st, all children can come to school in traditional Welsh costume, Welsh rugby shirts, miner's outfits etc. as we will be celebrating St. David's Day.…

Welcome to Year 2   Children entering Year 2 will be encouraged to:- Extend and improve their ability to use spoken and written language in a wide variety of contexts.
