Rougemont recognises the importance of wrap around care and has, for a number of years, provided care for pupils after school. We recognise the need for this facility, particularly for those of you who are working parents.
Currently, pupils may remain in school from 4.00pm until 6.00pm and are supervised by after school staff. During this session, a homework facility is offered for the first part and games and activities are provided for the duration. A drink and biscuits are offered although some children do prefer to bring their own in order to stave off the hunger pangs before they go home for tea. There is a charge for this service and the cost of this is invoiced to parents.
In addition, Rougemont provides care from 8.00am until the start of the school day. There is currently no charge for this service.
During the school holidays, PLAYWORKS offer Holiday Club. Information for this is issued prior to the start of the holiday and information regarding registration and cost can be acquired from www.playworks-childcare.co.uk
Rougemont endeavours to provide a service to ensure continuing care of our pupils and parents can feel secure in the knowledge that their children are looked after in a safe and secure environment.
