The Spring term will begin by studying decimals. Firstly by considering the place value of each digit in a decimal (rounding, ordering and comparing), and then by learning how decimals can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided.
In addition to decimals, two dimensional shapes will also be considered, incorporating area and perimeter.
Types of averages will also be introduced.
