KS3 English

Key Stage 3 (Years 7 – 9), pupils are taught a wide variety of speaking and listening, reading and writing skills, that will prepare them for their GCSE in English and English Literature.

Each term, pupils are assessed on their understanding of what has been taught, via class-based speaking and listening, reading and writing assessments. The attainment levels achieved in each of these assessments count towards 40% of their end-of-year percentage and grade.
