Students studying Geography A and AS Level have a real interest in interpreting and understanding both the physical and human environments in the world around them.
A wide variety of teaching methods are used. Assignments take many forms, including essays, structured questions, practical techniques, statistical and graphical exercises, and research. In class students are expected to make contributions to discussions as well as occasionally making presentations. There are numerous opportunities to use ICT to assist learning and research in Geography.
Fieldwork is a compulsory element of both the AS and A Level courses, with the opportunity for A Level students to study Geography both locally and in more distant locations.
At A Level we follow the WJEC specification, this is made up of 4 modules:

A2 modules taught in Year 13
