At Key Stage 3, we aim to build on the mathematical skills acquired at Key Stage 2, developing pupils’ knowledge and understanding of the subject.

Pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will study a wide range of topics, enhancing their skills and understanding of the following assessment objectives:

• using and applying mathematics
• number and algebra
• shape, space and measure
• data handling
