Physics is intellectually stimulating and challenging to students of all abilities. It provides the foundation for a wide range of career choices, covering such diverse occupations as radiographer, doctor, architect, engineer, surveyor, technician, technical writer, climatologist, ergonomist, research scientist, cosmologist and many more. It helps explain many everyday phenomena and is of practical value both in the home and work. It is the fundamental science.
Physics is taught with enthusiasm and our Physics teachers have a real passion for their subject. A heuristic approach is used throughout a pupil’s studies. Practical work and a hands–on approach is an essential ingredient, forming not less than 50% of timetabled time whenever possible. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of Physics in the real world.
