We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make and we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best decision for your family.
At Rougemont, our admissions process reflects our ethos – friendly, welcoming and supportive. We welcome applications for entry at any time during the year as long as places are available. All applicants and their families are invited to meet the respective Heads of School to talk about what Rougemont can offer and are eligible for a free ‘Taster Day’. We also ensure all applicants and their families enjoy a guided tour of the School to see what is ‘beyond the gates’. I look forward to personally welcoming you to the School.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to call me on 01633 820811 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Entry to Nursery & Preparatory School (Infant & Junior)
Entry to Nursery and the Infant Department is by parental/family interview with Mrs Pritchard, Head of the Preparatory School and by a day’s assessment visit for older children. Pupils wishing to enter the Junior Department are invited to spend one or two days with us for assessment. Depending on the individual needs of the child, the School may advise that additional days be required during the admissions process.
Entry to Senior School
We have a formal Entrance and Scholarship Assessment morning for pupils wishing to enter Year 7. This year, the assessments will be held on Saturday 13 January 2018. If you wish to enter your child for the assessments, please contact Mrs Nicky Bates, Registrar, during the Autumn Term to register your child. For entry to Years 8 – 10, pupils generally join us for a two or three-day assessment visit.
Entry to Sixth Form:
For entry to the Sixth Form, candidates must have a minimum of 10 points from their five best GCSEs, where A* = 4 points, A = 3, B = 2 and C = 1 point (average 5 B grades).
