Scholars are a core part of School life at Rougemont.  Scholars are expected to take the lead in the academic and extra-curricular life of the School with active involvement in clubs, committees, house events and teams providing leadership, inspiration and excellent role models for younger pupils.

In assessing candidates we are not simply recognising existing talent but will also take into account pupils’ future potential, motivation and aspiration.  Scholars are expected to consistently achieve high standards.

It is important that potential candidates, both internal and external read the criteria carefully to ensure that they will meet the standard.  All criteria and further details are outlined in the >Scholarship Programme 2020 Info Booklet

Sixth Form bursaries are also available.  Five A grades at GCSE are required, including the subjects to be studied at AS Level.  Bursaries are means-tested. We are also able to offer a number of means-tested bursaries to pupils in Year 7 and above. If you would like more information on bursaries, please contact the Registrar in the first instance.
