Science Revision Guidelines

You will have TWO forty five minute papers. In class you will have practised the types of questions that you will come across. You have been given a revision book to help you to learn the factual information.

The exam mark will be out of 80. Your end of year mark will also include 20 marks for your year’s work. The mark will be divided as follows:

Effort with class work – out of 5.

Practical work standard – out of 5.

Homework punctuality and standard – out of 5.

Presentation of work – out of 5.

Your final mark will be given to you as a percentage.

Year 6 science tickles the pupils' tastebuds!

We have been studying reversible and irreversible changes. The pupils investigated these changes whilst enjoying a delicious snack of toast and melted chocolate.

We have also visited our new kitchen and practical room to learn about conductors and insulators of heat and electricity.
