|30 November||Whole School Christmas Fayre|
As with all School PTA organisations, we have two main objectives here at Rougemont.
Firstly to fundraise for the whole school – from Nursery right through to Sixth Form. Teachers and staff are asked to submit applications to the PTA for funds to spend on items that are mainly considered outside of the school purchasing criteria. Ideally, these items all add to the children’s enjoyment and enrichment at school. These requests can vary from equipment for extracurricular clubs, to larger items that can benefit the whole school.
Secondly, the aim of the PTA is to generate a feeling of community amongst the school through the organisation of events such as the annual Christmas Fayre or parent focused events such as quiz nights or coffee mornings.
Events and activities planned for 2018 will be placed on this page in the new year.
In addition to events, we also have several existing and new initiatives including our Nearly New Uniform Shop, our School Lottery, Stamptastic and Giving Machine.
Nearly New Uniform
We hold a range of Rougemont uniform items, including trousers, shorts, shorts, blazers, girl’s Prep School summer dresses and pinafores. Infant and Junior coats have just been changed and are currently only available as new items from Macey Sports.
Should you wish to purchase any Nearly New items please find a link below to the order form which can be handed in to any of the School receptions or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you only require a couple of items, simply pop it in an email. However, if you require a lot of items, using the order form would be helpful. If you wish to arrange a time to view uniform in the ‘shop’, please contact Eve direct.
When your child has outgrown uniform, please feel free to drop it off at any reception, provided that it is in sellable condition. Dirty socks, worn out wellies, stained or worn clothing should be taken to a charity shop instead. Barnados on Malpas Road take such items and can still generate some money from them.
Rougemont school PTA has been registered with the official School Lottery programme since October 2015. This allows parents and staff to purchase weekly lottery tickets with all proceeds returned to the PTA. So far this has generated a substantial amount of money and can grow further with your support.
Simply visit www.yourschoollottery.co.uk and search for Rougemont school. Tickets cost just £1 per week and there is a guaranteed prize for one lucky ticket holder each week. There is also an additional weekly draw where the prize fund is £25,000. You can also set up a direct debit meaning you don’t even have to remember to buy a ticket.
For those of you who already buy tickets, we would also like to say an extra thank you to parents and staff who have donated their weekly winnings back to the PTA. The monies genuinely benefit the children and we appreciate your support.
Stamptastic manufacture amazing name stamps and ink that can label virtually anything (most fabrics, metal, wood and some plastics). The ink is guaranteed to last a year, but arguably is permanent. You can label clothes (including socks), pencil cases, water bottles. No more sewing or ironing on labels. No more lost pencil cases or PE kit. Now you can just stamp everything!
If you place an order, please quote NP206QB and the PTA will receive 20-30% cash back.

Giving Machine is an online shipping portal that provides links to retailers websites. In return, the retailer provides a cashback variable percentage of the amount spent.
All the top names are on there, such as John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Argos, Amazon and Expedia.
All you have to do is join the Giving Machine and select the charities that you wish to support. You can support any number of charities and apportion a percentage of your cashback to each. Naturally we hope that you choose Rougemont to receive a share.
Our sign-up code is 229153. Simply type this into the home page and you will be guided through the registration process.
Once you are a member, you can install a ‘Shop and Give’ reminder which reminds you to use the portal if you open a retailers website direct.
