Rougemont School is celebrating another year of outstanding A Level results – the best in South East Wales, once again.
Our pupils have, once again, produced exemplary results far exceeding the national picture and we are incredibly proud of them all.

“It has been a wonderful couple of days here at Rougemont, celebrating some of the best results in the region. Our pupils have, once again, produced exemplary results far exceeding the national picture and we are incredibly proud of them all. They have been a fantastic year group, supporting each other throughout their time in Sixth Form and being each other’s biggest cheerleaders.
We are incredibly proud of every one of our students. Their determination, perseverance, and enthusiasm for learning have been truly inspiring. They have shown not only academic excellence but also resilience and adaptability in planning the next steps of their journey.
These results and destinations reflect the ambition and dedication of our young people, as well as the tireless efforts of our staff and the support of parents. My thanks go to our outstanding teaching staff and support staff who go above and beyond to guide our pupils on their individual learning pathways and ensure every single one of them reaches their full potential.
We wish all our students the very best for their future. They leave us as confident, capable, and compassionate individuals, ready to make their mark on the world. The grades they now hold, open the doors into their future; the young people they are, allow them to flourish, fully equipped as the curious, confident leaders of tomorrow.

We are also pleased to report a number of pupils opting to take a Gap Year this year with many planning to travel and gain work experience before taking up their place at university in 2026. This is a pleasing development with new pathways being explored by our pupils.
