ROUGEMONT PUPILS ACHIEVE BEST A LEVEL RESULTS IN SOUTH EAST WALES ONCE AGAIN
Pupils at Rougemont Sixth Form are celebrating the Best A Level results in South East Wales, once again.
1 in 3 of all grades achieved were A* grades, with A*-B grades at an all-time high of 84%!
These phenomenal results tell the story of hard work, dedication, ambition and shared purpose, not only from our pupils but from our teachers and parents, too.
Head of Rougemont, Mrs Lisa Pritchard shared:
“Achieving the best results in the region isn’t just a moment of celebration — it’s a marker of what Rougemont stands for. It shows that our values really are lived realities. This morning’s results prove that when a community commits to learning, young people flourish. We celebrate all their successes and all their pathways. Congratulations to our Class of 2026.”
Once again, Rougemont School has achieved the best A Level results in South East Wales, an accolade we are proud to have held for the past decade and beyond.

Particular mention must go to our elite athletes Theodora (GB Swimming and Commonwealth 2026 bronze medallist), Bronwen (GB Cycling), Ollie (GB BMX), Albie (Wales Triathlon), Jack (British Sailing) and Megan and Amelie (Glamorgan Cricket) and Oscar (Welsh Athletics) who have achieved outstanding results this year alongside their sporting commitments, testament to Rougemont’s flexible curriculum for our young sporting stars.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils who have the confidence to recognise their strengths and to choose futures that fit their ambitions, testament to our teachers who nurture individual purpose and unique talents – a Rougemont standard!
