The Rougemont House system encourages friendly competition in a very supportive and encouraging atmosphere. There are three Houses named after Welsh Saints; Gwynog (yellow), Caradog (blue) and Dyfrig (red), each led by a designated member of staff (the House Tutor), and supported by the Year 13 and Year 6 Senior Prefect team as House Captains and Vice Captains. All pupils from Year 3 upwards are allocated to a House, and we try to place siblings within the same House so that they are able to support each other!
Here are some of the annual House competitions we run throughout Juniors and Seniors:
HOUSE MUSIC
HOUSE EISTEDDFOD
HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY
HOUSE SWIMMING GALA
HOUSE PAPER PLANE CHALLENGE
HOUSE ROCK – PAPER – SCISSORS
HOUSE SPORTS DAY
