‘LITTER HEROES’ IN UPPER INFANTS!

`Your support can help cut litter, end waste and improve places. Your support can change our world for the better`

The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with a simple aim:

To bring people across the country to clear up the litter that blights our environment.

We wanted the children to get involved and raise awareness hoping that they would think about what to do with their own litter when they are out and about.

Armed with bags, litter pickers and gloves, Upper Infants walked around the school grounds to see what they could find.

They then recorded their findings on a chart.

We were pleased to say the school was fairly `litter free`!

This weekend, we are challenging the children to `design a poster` about litter and we will laminate the winner and place it on our bins!

Hopefully this will encourage all pupils to be more responsible and put their litter in the bin and become LITTER HEROES!
