We were honoured to welcome Holocaust survivor, Zigi Shipper to School this week to give a talk as part of our ‘Rougemont Horizons’ programme.

In conjunction with the Holocaust Educational Trust, Zigi has visited our School on a number of occasions in the past to talk at length with Senior pupils, staff and parents alike about his experience at Auschwitz-Birkenau during World War II.

An extraordinary gentleman with an extraordinary life story to share.  To hear his story is a humbling experience and everyone who attended this week’s event felt privileged to be in his presence.

We look forward to welcoming Zigi back to Rougemont in the near future.
