This term, our Year 9 Art students have been exploring the theme of Portraiture. The students have experimented with a range of drawing techniques such as using continuous line, tonal contrasts, colour and working on different surfaces that they have sourced and prepared whilst at home. The students have also experimented with photography which was showcased earlier in the term as a response to the Hold Still exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery which was retweeted by the National Portrait Gallery Schools when it was shared via our social media platforms.

Our Year 9 art students are a very talented group and we would like to thank them for their enthusiasm, commitment and dedication during our extended period of online learning. Well done Year 9!
