YEAR 6 – OLYMPIC ACTIVITIES WEEK

How many javelin throws would it take to reach Mount Fuji?  And how long would it take to run to Tokyo? These are just some of the questions Year 6 were tasked to answer during their Maths lessons this week!

Year 6 Maths pupils were on track with Men’s 100m spring working out the winners and timings.  The only hurdle is the decimal point and those tenths and hundredths of a second!

In preparation for their mini Olympic Games vs Year 5, Science pupils measured their height and foot length.

Pupils loved trying badminton in the Sports Hall, too.
